Do you ever look around & realise you’re surrounded by magic? Ok, maybe you’re not feeling it right now. And it’s not an everyday occurrence to see amazing moments in the spaces that you spend most of your time in. But it can really lift your vibe when you see the magic in the mundane. It might mean taking a long shower & feeling as if you’ve visited a spa, or taking time to look after your body & feeling the benefits from it. My Magic M’s are here to support you in whatever your venture – because looking after yourself is integral to success in whatever you do. This week’s M is ‘magic’.
Here’s a few ways to find magic in your everyday life:
1) Create a ritual
This is basically a routine. Everyone has some kind of routine already, even if it doesn’t feel like it, it’s just up to you if it’s intentional or not. The easiest place to start is by setting out a few touch points to your morning routine. Could you make yourself a nice cup of tea or coffee to drink in bed? What about 10 mins of reading before you look at your phone? Adding small moments of calm to your morning will help it feel more magical.
2) Speak your blessing aloud
‘Thank you for a glorious day’ / ‘I’m so glad I got to catch up with my friends today’/ ‘I’ve tidied my inbox & feel much better for it’ & so on. There’s loads of evidence to say that when we speak our goals out loud it helps us to actually achieve them. But also, just noticing the little day to day blessings puts you in a great headspace. Gratitude, always!
3) Switch it up
Take a different route to work. Try listening to a different radio station. Check out a new restaurant in your area. A little change can make a big difference
